Xin Lin 🔉 is a second-year graduate student at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Xin is pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychological Science (Experimental track) and earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Xin's primary interest is to explore how traumatic experiences impact both psychological and physical health, as well as how individuals rebuild their internal motivation. Xin is also interested in developing effective intervention and coping strategies for individuals experiencing interpersonal violence or trauma.
Xin's secondary interest is to identify adolencent and early adulthood’s self-harm motivation, health risky behavior, and underlying neural mechanism of mental health disorder.
During free time, Xin enjoys learning new activities and spending time outdoors and enjoys playing badminton, running, photography, and figure skating. Xin also likes to dance, meditate, listen to the orchestra, and watch ballet shows to help manage stress.
